Peveril Castle’s Toilet Re-Enactment & Day Out

This one is in Peveril Castle, Castleton, on 10-Apr-2004.
Rodolfo, Leandro and myself (Fab) went to Castleton for the day, we paid to go to the castle and discovered a small room with a grill on the floor, we imagined it may have been used as a toilet in the past. We decided to bring the room back to life with a re-enactment in picture form.

As usual, Leandro had to take it to another level…

After that we decided to take make a special effects multi-picture with the castle as a background. Mine came out ok, and so did Leandro’s, but he wouldn’t leave Rodolfo alone so they got a combined multi-picture.

After walking around in Castleton we headed to Bakewell, home of the Bakewell Tart.

Lydgate Lane Raw Chicken BBQ

This is from 31-Apr-2004, when Rodolfo, Leandro and myself (Fab) lived together on Lydgate Lane.

It was a really cold day, the back garden was thoroughly overwgrown and for some reason we decided to have a BBQ. We had a BBQ but no charcoal so we used it as a support for one of those cheap disposable BBQ sets you get at supermarkets.

I seem to remember there being a lot of stuff to cook, but because of the wind and the quality of the disposable BBQ, it took forever and at the end we weren’t that sure that the chicken was properly cooked.

We did have fun, I think we were happy no one got food poisoning.

You can see from the pictures that we started extremely hopeful in shorts but as it started to get dark we had to put our coats on.
